Social advertising

Reaching people who were not looking for you.

Search ads catch people already looking. Social ads put you in front of people who match your customer profile but had no intention of searching today. Those are different jobs and they are not interchangeable.

Where this actually earns its money

The strongest use of social advertising for most local businesses is not cold prospecting — it is retargeting. Showing a relevant ad to someone who already visited your site costs a fraction of finding a stranger, and it converts better because they arrived with context.

Which means the site has to be able to build that audience in the first place, correctly and with proper consent. That is a technical setup question, and it is one we handle rather than hand back.

What we need from you

  • Photos or video of real work — stock imagery performs badly
  • A specific offer, not "learn more about our services"
  • Access to your business page and ad account
  • Patience for a test period; the first audience is rarely the best one

Honest fit

What it is good at, and what it isn't.

Good at

  • Reaching a demographic or geography precisely
  • Retargeting people who visited your site and left
  • Visual businesses — venues, tourism, food, trades showing finished work
  • Local awareness at lower cost per view than search
  • Promoting events, openings, and seasonal offers

Not the right tool for

  • Capturing urgent intent — someone with a burst pipe is using Google
  • Complex or considered purchases with a long decision cycle
  • Businesses with nothing visual to show
  • Producing leads without a clear offer and a page to land on
